stone lamp

I saw this lamp (there are more than one) on etsy. I loved the boyishness it held. Rocks turned in to a lamp! How fun for a little boy's room and creativity. Such a creative, artistic way to bring in the outdoors and make it functional. Ingenious!
Description:
"These stones were all picked for their shadows and texture. They look rugged and beautiful together.

I have upgraded all the parts that are used for the lamps. The sockets are solid brass sheet metal with a "Captive Ring Assembly." They have matching harps, necks and caps for the lampshade top.

The image has a sample lampshade that does not come with the piece leaving you the freedom to choose your own style lampshade depending on your decor as well as keeping the cost of the lamp down and putting the cost into the quality lighting components."

Price: $145

so is this the picture of your lamp in his room, or the picture advertising the lamp? I like it too, it gives me a log cabin-y feel. and a beachy feel at the same time! I'm very curious to see how your little boy's room is going to turn out, I've seen the things you've liked and am anxious to see how they are all coming together!!

hey Jo! :o)

it's just a picture of the advertised lamp. I looove it, but I don't think I'll spend $145 on just ONE LAMP. haha!! I wish...

Maybe Mark and I can figure out how to make something though. It would be a fun project. :oP

I have NO Idea how Mont's room is going to turn out. I have NOTHING put together; only ideas swirling around in my mind.
